I Should Leave
A downloadable game for Windows
You have to escape a party crashed by some demonic guests without alerting them you're human. Help them out and they'll give you advice on how to leave.
But talking to people at parties isn't easy. You have to type your responses to their questions. If you take too long or misspeak it could have consequences!
If you happen to die, don't give up! You may be able to use some knowledge you've gained from a past life to skip some awkward conversations and pick up where you left off.
When talking to demons, you will sometimes see text at the bottom of the screen. You must accurately type out the response or they'll grow agitated or hostile!
This is a prototype, it should take only 10-15 minutes to play. If you have feedback about the game so far please submit it here.
CONTROLS:
WASD: Move
SHIFT: Crouch
ESC: Pause
LEFT MOUSE: Check / Pickup Item / Cycle Text / Advance Text
RIGHT MOUSE: Drop Item / Cycle Text / Advance Text
...and of course the who keyboard when typing!

I was stuck for ages on the plant demon because I kept automatically typing 'favourite' rather than 'favorite', curse my british brain!
This was a lot of fun, I love the concept and it's cool to see someone using typing for interesting game mechanics, plus the demons were fun (love the dancing demon). I filled out the feedback form and I'll definitely be keeping an eye out for more of this.

I am terrible at typing and make typos like crazy, so it was really rewarding to finally best the gold demon and escape! This was a really fun experience!

It took me a few tries to escape but overall, it was a nice game! Definitely an interesting experience. The game's design and concept really made it better. I also love how the game projects the clues and how it progresses. Can't wait for the full game!

Just to make sure, is this happening when you see grey text at the bottom of the screen?
yes .
Ok! Also just to make sure, when you try to type during this part does it shake the bottom bar and make a heartbeat noise? Typing is case sensitive. If this isn't the case, I'm looking into what might be causing this.
no look heartbeat nois .. I try to write but it flashes from the writing it stays still without writing anything .... I tried to write random but nothing ...
